  • SonarQube Server release cycle and active versions. SonarQube Server ships a new version every two months, two of them per year as Long-Term Active (LTA) releases; the latest version, the latest LTA and the previous LTA for up to six months after a new LTA are considered active and receive patches. [1][4]
  • SonarQube Server patch policy. For LTA releases starting with 2026.5, Developer, Enterprise and Data Center edition customers get 12 months of patches from the release date, and Enterprise and Data Center customers with Enterprise Support get 18 months. [1]
  • SonarQube Community Build release cycle. A new Community Build version is released every month, and the vendor states there are no active-version or LTA concepts for it. [3]
