Softpointer

Softpointer Inc makes the Tag&Rename music file tag editor and the freeware AudioShell Windows Explorer extension. Tag&Rename is shareware with a 30-day evaluation, after which a one-time registration fee is required.

  1. Tag&Rename may be evaluated free of charge for 30 days; continued use requires a registration fee of $29.95.[1]

  2. One registered copy may be used either by a single person on one or more computers, or on a single workstation used non-simultaneously by multiple people, but not both.[2]

  3. The licence states that Tag&Rename is not free software and that unregistered use after the 30-day evaluation violates copyright law.[3]

  4. The evaluation version may be copied and distributed unmodified at no charge, but not sold or bundled with other products without written permission.[4]

  5. AudioShell, a Windows Explorer shell extension for viewing and editing music file tags, is offered as freeware.[5]
