Softerra

Softerra, Inc. makes directory management software, including Softerra LDAP Administrator, the free read-only Softerra LDAP Browser and the Adaxes Active Directory management and automation product. LDAP Administrator is sold as perpetual licences (single, domain-limited or site) with optional annual maintenance, and Adaxes is licensed by the number of managed user accounts.

  1. Softerra LDAP Administrator is distributed under three licence types: Single License (one installed copy on one computer), Operating Maintenance License (unlimited copies limited to up to 20 predefined domains) and Unlimited Site License (unlimited copies for internal purposes).[1]

  2. Annual Maintenance and Support is optional, is available only for the latest version, and includes major upgrades during its term; otherwise major version upgrades require an upgrade fee.[2]

  3. LDAP Administrator can be evaluated free for 30 days without a licence key.[3]

  4. Softerra LDAP Browser is a free, lightweight version of LDAP Administrator limited to read-only operations such as browsing, search and export.[4]

  5. Adaxes is licensed in packages based on the number of enabled and not expired user accounts in all domains it manages.[5]
