SOFiSTiK

SOFiSTiK AG develops structural analysis, design and BIM software for the construction industry. Licences are granted permanently or on a rental basis, as single-user (local) or network licences controlled by WIBU CodeMeter.

  1. Unless otherwise agreed, SOFiSTiK grants the customer the right to use the software on a permanent basis.[1]

  2. A single-user licence permits use on no more than one item of hardware and does not allow multiple users on one workstation via remote control; a network licence permits use on the agreed network's server and clients up to any agreed maximum.[2]

  3. Use is restricted to the licence area, by default the customer's country of registration, or all EU/EEA states for customers established there; rights do not extend to affiliated group companies.[3]

  4. Permanent licences may be transferred to a third party if SOFiSTiK is notified, the recipient accepts the terms in writing, and all copies and hardware keys are handed over; commercial leasing or renting is not allowed.[4]

  5. SOFiSTiK distinguishes Local Licenses for single users and Network Licenses for licence servers, both controlled by WIBU Systems CodeMeter, including USB dongles.[5]
