Licensing at a Glance

  • Free tier
  • Per device
  • Named user
  • Site or enterprise-wide

  1. Sandra is offered as Lite (free), Professional Personal (home), Professional Business (commercial), Engineer (manufacturers, OEMs, technical support and reviewers) and Enterprise (corporate) editions.[1]

  2. Professional Personal and Professional Business are licensed per computer (multiple users on the same computer), Engineer per user (multiple computers used by the same user) and Enterprise per domain (multiple users and computers).[2]

  3. Sandra Lite is free for personal or educational use on a non-domain device; any other use, such as office or business use, is limited to a 21-day evaluation, after which a commercial version must be purchased.[3]

  4. The Sandra Enterprise licence treats each virtual machine on a physical computer as a separate computer, and allows moving the software between devices as long as it is not used on more than one device per licence at a time.[4]

  5. Only Sandra Lite may be redistributed, under its separate distribution licence; the paid editions cannot be distributed in any way.[5]
