SEPPmail

SEPPmail is a Swiss vendor of email encryption and signature software, including the SEPPmail Secure E-Mail Gateway and SEPPmail.cloud. The gateway is licensed through a base licence sized by mailbox count plus per-address user licences, under purchase, rental or MSP models.

  1. The Secure E-Mail Gateway is available under a perpetual purchase model, an annual rental (subscription) model, and an MSP/Cloud model for partners providing it as a service.[1]

  2. The gateway base system can be a hardware or virtual appliance; the basic licence includes domain encryption, and its size is determined by the number of mailboxes in the company.[2]

  3. For user-level signing and encryption, a user licence is required for each sending email address, with annual or three-year maintenance (SW care pack).[3]

  4. User licences are tied to the user's email address and are only released when that address is deactivated on the gateway, for example when an employee leaves.[4]

  5. Partners in the SEPPmail partner programme can obtain a Not For Resale (NFR) licence for full in-house use of the features.[5]
