For software tools, a PC-locked licence lets one user use the software on a single PC locked to its MAC address or unique identifier; a floating licence allows multiple users on a company network up to the number of purchased concurrent seats via the SEGGER license server; Enterprise Licenses support unlimited users in a team.[1]
Embedded software and middleware is licensed as a Single Product, Product Family or CPU source code licence, or as a Company-Wide or Silicon Vendor Buyout licence.[2]
All SEGGER embedded software licensing options are royalty free, allow unlimited production volumes, and require neither a licence manager nor a dongle.[3]
SEGGER's Friendly License (SFL) allows use of its tools free of charge for non-commercial purposes with full functionality, and lets commercial users evaluate the software with no time restriction.[4]
