Seagull Software

Seagull Software makes the BarTender label, barcode and RFID design and printing software. BarTender is sold in on-premises and cloud editions on annual subscriptions, licensed by printer or, for the entry editions, by Workstation.

  1. BarTender On-premises comes in Starter, Professional, Automation and Enterprise editions, and BarTender Cloud in Essentials, Automation and Enterprise editions, with list prices quoted per year and Enterprise editions quoted by sales.[1]

  2. On-premises BarTender is available as a printer-based or Workstation subscription or licence, while the cloud edition is sold as a printer-based subscription.[2]

  3. A Workstation licence lets a single user on a single PC print to unlimited printers and is offered only for the Starter and Professional editions.[3]

  4. The EULA says licences are restricted by usage limits set by the licence type purchased, such as the number of printers used or the number of items printed or scanned in a given period.[4]

  5. Under the EULA, Seagull may audit use of the software and compliance with the agreement after reasonable prior notice, during regular business hours.[5]
