RSA
RSA makes identity and access security software, including SecurID multi-factor authentication and identity governance. Software is licensed by Unit of Measure (such as per user, per CPU or concurrent) under a signed agreement or RSA's standard EULA.
Licensing at a Glance
- Named user
- Concurrent user
- Per processor
- Subscription
RSA software is licensed via a Unit of Measure (UOM) that quantifies the licence rights; use beyond the granted scope requires additional licences and additional licence and maintenance fees.[1]
Per-User licences count the maximum number of Users that may be managed by, authorised to use or access the software, whether or not they are actively using it.[2]
Other units include per-CPU (maximum CPUs on which the software may be installed), concurrent users or connections, and Active, Lite and Inactive users for Governance & Lifecycle.[3]
The EULA grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal business purposes and prohibits transferring the software to an Affiliate or third party.[4]
RSA may audit usage no more than once a year on 30 days' notice and may remotely monitor licence quantities on an ongoing basis; over-use must be reconciled and paid.[5]
RSA's standard EULA covers all RSA products for which no product-specific standard form agreement is identified.[6]
