It licenses software under its End User License Agreement, with the licence model and capacities for each product set in the transaction document and License Model Schedule.
Licensing at a Glance
- Perpetual licence
- Subscription
- Capacity (data, assets, nodes)
The EULA grants a non-transferable, non-exclusive, worldwide licence for internal business use that is perpetual unless stated to be a time-limited term, in object code only.[1]
The licence model and any restrictions are stated in the transaction document; if none is specified, the licence model and capacities for which licence fees were paid apply.[2]
Unless prohibited by the licence documents, the licensee may allocate software licences to its affiliates, remaining responsible for their compliance.[3]
The licensee must keep records for the term and 24 months after, return self-audit questionnaires within 30 days of request, and Rocket Software may audit records and systems once per year.[4]
Use of the software for service bureau or time-sharing purposes, and sublicensing or redistribution, are prohibited except as the licence documents allow.[5]
