RealNetworks

RealNetworks makes the RealPlayer media player and downloader, along with other consumer and computer-vision products. RealPlayer is offered as a free edition plus paid plans, under the RealNetworks Terms of Service.

  1. RealPlayer is offered as a Free edition and paid Downloader Express, Plus and Premium plans; only the Premium plan includes cloud storage (25 GB).[1]

  2. The Free and Downloader Express editions show in-product ads and upsells; the Plus and Premium plans are ad-free.[2]

  3. The Terms of Service grant a non-exclusive licence to install and use RealNetworks software provided as part of the Services, and prohibit copying, sublicensing, leasing, transferring, reselling or reverse engineering the Services.[3]

  4. The Terms of Service prohibit using the Services for commercial, non-personal purposes such as storing or distributing content on behalf of third parties or operating a commercial application or storage service.[4]

  5. Premium subscriptions are charged monthly or yearly until cancelled; fees are non-refundable with no credits for partially used periods, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.[5]
