Qbik New Zealand Limited develops WinGate, a Windows proxy server and internet gateway, along with WinGate VPN and a Kaspersky antivirus add-on. WinGate is licensed per installation and sized by concurrent users in Standard, Professional and Enterprise editions, with a free 10-user licence.

  1. Each installation of WinGate requires a licence, and an unlimited licence covers one installation only.[1]

  2. WinGate licence size is based on the number of users concurrently connected, with Standard, Professional and Enterprise tiers from 6 concurrent users up to unlimited.[2]

  3. Educational and not-for-profit or governmental discounts are available on enquiry.[3]

  4. The three licence types enable different features; for example, Active Directory support is in Professional and Enterprise, and HTTPS inspection is Enterprise-only.[4]

  5. A free licence for WinGate 7.2 and later is feature-equivalent to Standard for 10 concurrent users; it cannot be added to another licence's user count and, like all licences, requires activation.[5]

  6. Qbik's products can be tried free for 30 days by choosing a trial during product activation.[6]
