Q-DAS

Q-DAS, a Hexagon brand, makes statistical process control and measurement system analysis software for manufacturing quality, including qs-STAT, solara.MP and their browser-based WEB editions. Products are activated with a licence file per customer, either locally or as a concurrent network installation, and are available as annual subscription licences.

  1. Installing Q-DAS software and licensing Q-DAS products are separate processes; which products can be used depends on the registered licence.[1]

  2. A Q-DAS subscription licence is time-limited to one year and can be renewed for a further year, with a new licence file (*.LIC) issued on renewal.[2]

  3. Multiple licences per product can be registered only for server provisioning (a concurrent network installation); a local installation registers one licence per product or option.[3]

  4. Customers who have licensed only the browser-based qs-STAT WEB or solara.MP WEB products can run the desktop version under a demo licence for configuration purposes.[4]
