
PyYAML
PyYAML is a YAML parser and emitter library for the Python programming language, maintained by the YAML community alongside the LibYAML C library. It is released under the MIT licence.

The PyYAML module was written by Kirill Simonov and is now maintained by the YAML community; copyright is held by Kirill Simonov (2006-2016) and Ingy döt Net (2017 onwards).[2]
The MIT licence text in the PyYAML repository permits use, copying, modification, merging, publishing, distribution, sublicensing and sale of copies without charge, provided the copyright and permission notice is included.[3]
PyYAML offers both pure-Python and LibYAML-based parsers and emitters; LibYAML, the C library, is also released under the MIT licence.[4]
