Pur3

Pur3 Ltd publishes Morphyre, a 3D music visualiser available as a media player plugin, standalone program and screensaver. The Windows editions, formerly sold as paid Personal and Pro versions, are now free without warranty or support, while the Mac App Store and Android versions remain paid.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Freeware

  1. Morphyre has been released entirely for free, including Morphyre Personal, Morphyre Pro and the screensaver, and the site states that as everything is free there is no warranty or support.[1]

  2. Upgrading from Morphyre Free to Morphyre Personal is no longer needed: everything from Personal and Personal Extra is included for free and Personal can no longer be bought.[2]

  3. Owners of an old Morphyre Personal activation code use the Personal version rather than Morphyre Pro, and can recover a lost key through the Lost Key page with their e-mail address and PayPal transaction ID.[3]

  4. The download page lists Morphyre on the Mac App Store and Morphyre for Android as not free, alongside the free Windows version of Morphyre Personal.[4]
