• Software Support Lifecycle (STS/LTS). Releases are Short-Term Support (Active Maintenance for one year after the next release, then one year End of Maintenance, then End of Life) or Long-Term Support (at least three years of Active Maintenance, then End of Support with optional one-year Extended Limited Support, then End of Life). • Previous software lifecycle policies. Releases without an STS or LTS label are covered by earlier lifecycle policies; the vendor lists their maintenance, support and end-of-life dates per version in its EOL tracker. [2]
