Paragon Software

Paragon Software Group makes disk management, backup and recovery, and cross-platform file-system driver software such as Hard Disk Manager and Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software. Products are sold as single, volume, site and technician licences, with both perpetual and subscription licensing depending on the edition.

  1. A single licence is intended for permanent installation on one system with unlimited usage; the user may not rent out or redistribute the software.[1]

  2. A site licence grants the right to use the software at one company location, with no additional licences required if the number of systems grows during the licence term; the price is calculated on request.[2]

  3. The Technician Licence must be used in attended mode only and covers a pre-defined number of systems and locations during the licence term, provided the software is not installed or used on more than one system at a time.[3]

  4. For Hard Disk Manager for Business, the Workstation and Server licences are perpetual and the Technician licence is a subscription; the Workstation and Server licences each allow concurrent use on one computer.[4]

  5. Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software can be tried free for ten days, and a licence can be re-activated on another Mac up to four times before contacting support.[5]
