- Supported versions policy. PaperCut supports the current major version of NG/MF and the two previous major versions (M-2), with critical security updates and assisted support for the previous two. [1]
- End-of-life announcements. PaperCut announces end of support for major versions with 6 months notice for customers with valid M&S and 3 months for customers without; end-of-life versions keep working but get no updates. [1]
- Device type end-of-life policy. Embedded device applications follow announcement, end-of-support and end-of-life stages with a minimum of 6 months notice, and no paid extensions are offered. [1]
- Upgrade policy. Minor point releases are included; customers with current M&S or an active MF subscription can upgrade to new major versions. [5]
