Ordbogen

Licensing at a Glance

  • Subscription
  • Named user
  1. Commercial work requires a business agreement (erhvervsaftale), which is intended mainly for companies and schools; a private subscription gives unlimited access to general dictionaries for private use.[1]

  2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, business prices are based on annual prepayment of the subscription, and Ordbogen may adjust prices from one subscription period to the next.[2]

  3. Business subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in writing at least three months before the subscription period ends; reductions must be notified by the same deadline.[3]

  4. In a network agreement each licence permits one physical person to use the service; if more people have direct or indirect access than there are licences, the customer owes a contractual penalty of DKK 5,000 per violation.[4]

  5. Usernames and passwords are confidential and for the holder's own use only; misuse carries a penalty of DKK 5,000 per violation, or per started day while it continues.[5]
