OptimiDoc

OptimiDoc s.r.o. is a Czech company that makes print management, scanning and document digitisation software, including the on-premise OptimiDoc Server and the cloud services OptimiPrint and OptimiCapture. OptimiDoc Server is sold through distributors under licence terms that allow either a time-unlimited licence or a licence paid by monthly fee.

  1. The OptimiDoc Server licence allows one copy of the server portion of the software per hardware device, plus the number of client-portion copies on peripherals agreed with the distributor.[1]

  2. The licence period is agreed with the distributor: either a licence unlimited in time or a licence for a period during which the licensee pays a monthly licence fee; the fee may be one-off, one-off in instalments, or recurring monthly.[2]

  3. The licence is limited by the number of document pages per month that may be processed with the ABBYY FineReader Engine component, as agreed with the distributor.[3]

  4. The licensee may use the software only for its own purposes, may not sub-license or assign the licence, and the licence does not pass to a legal successor if the licensee ceases to exist.[4]

  5. OptimiDoc publishes a separate EULA for OptimiDoc Server and combined Terms of Service and DPA for OptimiDoc Cloud, OptimiCapture and OptimiPrint.[5]
