Octave BricsCAD

BricsCAD is a DWG-based 2D and 3D CAD platform, formerly marketed by Bricsys and now sold under the Octave BricsCAD name, offered in Lite, Pro, Mechanical, BIM and Ultimate levels. It is sold as 1-year or 3-year subscriptions or as perpetual licences, in single-user or network (floating) form.

  1. BricsCAD is offered as a 1-year subscription, a 3-year subscription or a lifetime perpetual licence, in Lite, Pro, Mechanical, BIM and Ultimate product levels.[1]

  2. A Single licence authorises one person to use BricsCAD, while a Network (floating) licence lets multiple users on a network share seats, with the number of seats defining how many users can use the software concurrently.[2]

  3. One year of BricsCAD Maintenance is included with every new licence and can be renewed from the second year; subscriptions always include Maintenance during the subscription period.[3]

  4. Existing perpetual licences can be upgraded to a higher product level or the latest version at any time, with upgrades supported from up to three versions back.[4]

  5. The BricsCAD free trial gives full access to BricsCAD Ultimate for 30 days, and technical product support is available during the trial and to customers with an active Maintenance contract or subscription.[5]
