Objectif Sécurité is a Swiss IT security consultancy that develops the ophcrack Windows password cracker and other security tools. Ophcrack is free and open source software under the GPL, and its rainbow tables are distributed free of charge.

  1. Objectif Sécurité SA, founded in 2004, provides security audits, consulting, training and incident analysis, and develops ophcrack, tproxy and other security tools.[1]

  2. Ophcrack is a free Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables and is free and open source software released under the GPL.[2]

  3. Free rainbow tables are provided for cracking Windows XP (LM) and Windows Vista and 7 (NT) password hashes.[3]

  4. As of September 2019 the professional Vista rainbow tables are also made available free of charge, distributed only as torrents because of their size.[4]
