NXP Semiconductors
NXP Semiconductors is a Dutch semiconductor maker that also publishes development tools for its processors and microcontrollers, including the MCUXpresso IDE and the CodeWarrior development suites. CodeWarrior suites are sold as node-locked or floating licences on annual subscription or perpetual terms.

CodeWarrior node-locked licences are tied to one computer by the Windows C drive volume serial number or an Ethernet MAC address; floating licences can be used by any user connected to the network.[1]
Licences from an annual subscription suite stop working one month after the expiration date, while licences from a perpetual suite never expire.[2]
Perpetual CodeWarrior suites include the first year of support; later years of maintenance and support are purchased separately, with no penalty for renewing after a lapse.[3]
