NUnit

The NUnit Project develops NUnit, an open-source unit-testing framework for .NET languages, together with its console runner and test adapters. NUnit 3 and later are released under the MIT licence.

  1. NUnit 3 and higher is released under the MIT licence; earlier releases used the NUnit licence, and both allow use of NUnit in free and commercial applications.[1]

  2. The NUnit Project is a member of the .NET Foundation.[2]

  3. The licence text names the copyright holders as Charlie Poole, Rob Prouse and Contributors and grants permission free of charge to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell copies.[3]

  4. The MIT licence requires the copyright notice and permission notice to be included in all copies or substantial portions of the software, and the software is provided without warranty.[4]
