Numerix

Numerix, which FINCAD (FinancialCAD) is now part of, makes pricing, valuation and risk analytics software for capital markets, including the Fincad Analytics Suite for Excel and developers. FINCAD software is licensed to organisations under a master software licence agreement with fixed licence terms that renew automatically.

  1. The FINCAD Master Software License Agreement is made between FinancialCAD Corporation and the customer named in the order form, and consists of order forms, general terms and conditions (with Appendix 1 describing the kinds of licences and licensed purposes) and any additional terms.[1]

  2. Each licence runs for the term set out in the order form and renews automatically for periods of the same length unless either party gives at least 60 days' written notice of non-renewal; the annual licence fee may be increased by 5% on each anniversary.[2]

  3. Licences are non-exclusive, personal to the customer, non-sublicensable and non-transferable, cover object code only, and are restricted to the licensed purpose and any limits in the order form.[3]

  4. The agreement defines licensing units including Software Users, Data Users, Interface Users, Personal Computers, Servers, Networks, Instances and physical CPU Cores, and FINCAD software may record usage data relevant to calculating fees.[4]

  5. Fincad Analytics Suite is available for Excel and for developers (APIs for Windows and Linux, with Java, VBA, C/C++, C#, VB.Net and Python), and can be tried free for 14 days.[5]
