Netwrix

Netwrix makes data security and identity security software, including Netwrix Auditor, 1Secure, Access Analyzer, Identity Manager, Privilege Secure and Endpoint Protector. Products are sold as subscriptions measured by published units such as identities, admin users, devices, workstations or terabytes of data.

  1. Netwrix defines five units of measurement for licence quantities (Admin User, Device, Identity, Terabyte and Workstation) and assigns one or more of them to each product.[1]

  2. Netwrix Auditor, 1Secure, Identity Manager, Directory Manager and PingCastle are measured by Identity; Access Analyzer by Identity and Terabyte; Privilege Secure by Admin User; Endpoint Protector by Workstation; PolicyPak and Change Tracker by Device.[2]

  3. For Identity licensing, disabled accounts, computer objects (unless separately licensed), group objects and inter-domain trust accounts are excluded from the count; virtual machines count as distinct Devices.[3]

  4. Workstation licences are counted over each 30-day rolling period of the Subscription Term, and licence quantities are measured at order execution and at each audit, true-up or renewal event.[4]

  5. Under the licence agreement, use is limited to the licensed quantity on the order and products may transmit licence usage data to Netwrix to verify compliance; Netwrix may increase pricing for renewal subscription terms.[5]
