Net-SNMP

Net-SNMP is an open source suite of command-line tools, an extensible agent, a trap daemon and C and Perl libraries that implement SNMP v1, v2c and v3. It is distributed free of charge under a set of BSD-style copyright notices.

  4. The suite includes command-line applications, an extensible SNMP agent (snmpd), a notification receiver (snmptrapd) and a library for developing SNMP applications with C and Perl APIs, for Unix-like systems and Microsoft Windows.[4]
