Nero

Nero makes consumer multimedia software such as Nero Platinum Suite and Nero Burning ROM. It sells perpetual licences and Nero Platinum subscriptions, and its software is also distributed through OEM partners.

  1. The applicable EULA terms depend on how the software was obtained: from a Nero OEM partner, from Nero or a Nero distributor, as a free or demo download, or through a beta programme.[1]

  2. A licence permits use of one copy of the software on a single computer, used on only one computer at a time; with a multiple licence, up to that number of copies may be used at once.[2]

  3. Unless otherwise specified, for example for a time-limited subscription licence, the agreement is concluded for an indefinite term and the licence period is unlimited.[3]

  4. Software obtained in a Nero family pack may be used on each separate computer in the household, one computer at a time.[4]

  5. The Nero Platinum subscription gives automatic access to the latest version, including new features and programs, without extra upgrade costs.[5]
