MessageSolution

MessageSolution makes email, SharePoint, OneDrive and file archiving, eDiscovery and compliance software, deployed on premises, in its cloud or by hosting partners. Archiving is licensed by the number of mailboxes archived, and continued use depends on an annually renewed Software Maintenance Program.

  1. Archiving additional mailboxes requires buying additional licences from the MessageSolution account management team; the administrator then selects the mailboxes for archiving in the EEA console.[1]

  2. Licences are not tied to a particular user: turning off archiving for one mailbox frees its licence for another, and historical data of a mailbox that is no longer archived is retained.[2]

  3. Continued use of EEA is contingent on annual renewal of the MessageSolution Software Maintenance Program (SMP), which includes continual licensing, software upgrades and unlimited technical support.[3]

  4. EEA reports include licensing information and the archived mailbox count alongside archived data volumes.[4]

  5. The archive and eDiscovery platform is offered for cloud-based, on-premise or MSP/ISP-hosted multi-tenant environments.[5]
