LUSAS

LUSAS, the trading name of Finite Element Analysis Ltd, makes finite element analysis software for bridge, civil, structural, composite and general engineering. Software is licensed as standalone licences tied to a hardware lock or as network licences served on a LAN or WAN.

  1. A Standalone Licence is protected by a security hardware lock and allows use on a single PC.[1]

  2. A Network Licence uses a network licence utility so the software can run on any machine on a local or wide area network, with the licence held on the chosen licence server.[2]

  3. Running LUSAS on any PC, standalone or networked, requires a local installation and a valid software licence key.[3]

  4. LUSAS Academic is for use only by educational establishments for teaching purposes and research.[4]

  5. Technical support is provided by the LUSAS distributor for the customer's region and is free to clients with a current support and maintenance agreement.[5]
