Lepide Software

Lepide makes the Lepide Data Security Platform (Auditor, Trust, Detect, Identify, Protect) for Active Directory and data auditing, plus a set of free reporting tools. Commercial use is licensed under the Lepide Customer Contract and Licence, with user licences delivered through licence keys.

  1. An evaluation licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable, for internal evaluation only, and lasts seven days from the software download; after it the software must be removed unless purchased.[1]

  2. On purchase, Lepide grants an irrevocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the software, services and documentation during the Contract Term.[2]

  3. A User Licence covers the number of Managed Users specified in an accepted quote or order, and the number of users authorised must not exceed the number specified in the Licence Keys.[3]

  4. The customer may not license, sell, rent, lease, transfer or otherwise make the services or documentation available to third parties other than the Managed Users.[4]

  5. Lepide reserves the right to increase its charges annually from each anniversary of the contract.[5]

  6. Lepide publishes a collection of free tools, such as Account Lockout Examiner and inactive-user and admin-user reports for Active Directory.[6]
