Lauterbach
Lauterbach makes TRACE32 debug and trace tools for embedded systems, combining debug hardware with PowerView software. Hardware products include a software warranty licence for updates, and software-only products are licensed as floating licences managed with Reprise RLM.
Licensing at a Glance
- Floating / network
- Free tier
Purchasing a Lauterbach product includes a one-year software guarantee for free updates; after the first year a new software warranty licence is required to run the latest TRACE32 software version.[1]
Customers can obtain a one-time temporary software warranty licence key to test a new software version for four weeks, which requires a registered serial number.[2]
TRACE32 software-only products are licensed via floating licences managed with Reprise License Manager, hosted either on a customer-site licence server identified by an RLM Host ID or in the RLMCloud.[3]
Lauterbach does not support multi-server fail-over setups; only one licence server per delivered licence file may be actively used.[4]
The TRACE32 Instruction Set Simulator is built into TRACE32 PowerView and is freely available to all owners of a TRACE32 debug module.[5]
A free TRACE32 GDB debug licence is available on request for supported Arduino Pro boards.[6]
