KISTERS

KISTERS makes software and services for water, weather and environmental monitoring, energy utilities and occupational safety, as well as the KISTERS 3DViewStation CAD viewer. 3DViewStation is sold as purchased or rented licences, with fixed, floating and concurrent-session options.

  1. 3DViewStation licences can be purchased with an annual maintenance fee, which is mandatory when using import interfaces for native CAD formats, or rented as an annual subscription that includes maintenance.[1]

  2. 3DViewStation Desktop licences are available as fixed seats bound to one machine or as floating licences limited by a licence manager to a maximum number of simultaneous users.[2]

  3. The 3DViewStation VR edition and the KAS batch tool are only available as fixed licences.[3]

  4. 3DViewStation WebViewer and VisShare are licensed per concurrent session, with no limit on the number of servers.[4]

  5. KISTERS states that it does not offer free 3DViewStation software and gives pricing on request; a 30-day trial is available.[5]
