Just Great Software

Just Great Software publishes Windows developer and text-processing tools including RegexBuddy, RegexMagic and PowerGREP. Products are sold as perpetual licences priced by number of users, with free minor updates within a major version.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Perpetual licence
  • Named user
  • Per device

  1. RegexBuddy is sold as single-user and multi-user licences from 5 to 100 users, and prices include free email support and free minor updates and bug fixes.[1]

  2. A single-user RegexBuddy licence covers one computer regardless of how many people use it, or one person on all the computers they use.[2]

  3. The required licence size is the lesser of the number of computers RegexBuddy runs on and the number of people using it; for a server installation, people and client computers with access are counted and the number of servers is irrelevant.[3]

  4. An existing licence can be expanded, with the additional users priced at the per-user rate of the price point at or below the new total licence size.[4]

  5. Minor updates within the same major version (for example any 5.x.x after buying 5.x.x) are free of charge.[5]

  6. Purchases are covered by a three-month unconditional money-back guarantee.[6]
