jq
jq is an open-source command-line JSON processor originally written by Stephen Dolan and now maintained by the jqlang project. It is free software released under the MIT licence.

jq uses a decimal-number C library obtained from the ICU downloads archive, which is distributed under the ICU 1.8.1 licence.[4]
Prebuilt jq binaries are standalone executables for Linux, macOS and Windows, and jq is also packaged in the official Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE and Arch repositories.[5]
