iterate GmbH develops Cyberduck, a free GPL-licensed server and cloud storage browser, and Mountain Duck, a commercial application for the same server and cloud storage services. Mountain Duck is sold per user for a specific major version.

Cyberduck is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or (at the user's option) any later version.[1]
Contributors who donate at least 10 USD receive a registration key that disables Cyberduck's donation prompt; the key can be used on multiple computers but is personal and must not be shared.[2]
Mountain Duck is licensed per seat: a licence is needed for each person using it, and one licence can be used on any number of computers by the same user.[3]
A Mountain Duck licence is valid for one specific major version, with upgrade discounts for future major versions depending on purchase date.[4]
The Mountain Duck EULA prohibits the licensee from transferring or assigning its rights under the EULA to any third party.[5]
