Illumio

Illumio makes breach containment and microsegmentation software, including Illumio Segmentation and Illumio Insights, delivered as SaaS and on-premises software. Products are sold on subscription under Illumio's Master Subscription Agreement.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Subscription

  1. During the subscription term Illumio provides access to the SaaS and a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable licence to install the on-premises software only on systems owned or controlled by the customer.[1]

  2. Fees are based on products purchased rather than actual usage, and fees and payment obligations are non-cancellable and non-refundable; multi-year order forms bind the customer for each year of the term.[2]

  3. Illumio may review the customer's use of the products to verify compliance, and may invoice for any underpayment the review reveals.[3]

  4. Free trials are granted for 30 days unless Illumio agrees otherwise, solely to evaluate whether to purchase a subscription.[4]

  5. On automatic renewal of a subscription term, the unit price increases by five percent for each successive renewal term.[5]
