Hanwha Vision

Hanwha Vision is a South Korean maker of video surveillance cameras and recorders that also publishes the Wisenet WAVE video management software. WAVE recording licences are perpetual, per camera stream and locked to the server's hardware ID.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Perpetual licence
  • Per device
  • Node-locked

  1. Live video from any source can be viewed in Wisenet WAVE without a licence, but a licence is required to record video, and one recording licence covers one camera stream.[1]

  2. Every Wisenet WAVE licence, when activated, is locked to the hardware ID of the computer it is installed on, derived from the motherboard and MAC address.[2]

  3. A Free licence is a no-cost, time-limited licence, while a Professional licence does not expire; video walls, I/O modules and some NVR streams need their own licence types.[3]

  4. Hanwha Vision describes Wisenet WAVE VMS as video management software supporting H.265 and WiseStream.[4]
