
FreeFileSync
FreeFileSync is a folder comparison and synchronization tool for Windows, macOS and Linux, published by its developer Zenju and described by the project as open source. The standard and Donation editions are for personal use by private individuals; commercial, organizational and government use requires the Business Edition, licensed per device for a one-time payment.

The standard version and the Donation Edition are allowed for personal use by private individuals only; private individuals using it for commercial purposes and all legal entities (businesses, organizations, government agencies) must purchase the Business Edition.[1]
To use FreeFileSync in a commercial or government setting, a number of devices must be licensed for installation; after payment the Business Edition download and an invoice are provided.[2]
Donors can download the Donation Edition, which adds features such as an auto-updater, parallel file copy, email notifications and a portable version; the Donation and Business Editions may not be redistributed in any way.[3]
The standard installer may be redistributed only under stated conditions; integrating it into a third-party automated installation mechanism is forbidden.[4]
Access to premium editions is provided upon a one-time payment, and as a digital product all sales are final.[5]
