Exact

Exact makes accounting and ERP software for small and medium-sized businesses and accountants, including Exact Online, Exact Globe and Exact Synergy. Licences are granted for a stated number of named users under country-specific terms and conditions.

  1. Exact publishes separate terms and conditions for each country and product line, such as Exact Globe, Exact Synergy and Exact Online.[1]

  2. Under the international terms, the software may be used only for the user's internal operations and for the number of Named Users stated in the licence file supplied by the seller.[2]

  3. A Named User is the natural person for whom a user ID giving access to the software is created, whether or not that person actually uses it.[3]

  4. Transferring the right of use to third parties is prohibited, including through a merger or change of control, as is hiring out, selling or pledging the software.[4]

  5. Exact may inspect compliance through an expert during office hours; the cost is borne by Exact unless non-compliance is found, in which case the customer pays.[5]
