estos

estos is a German developer of unified communications and CTI software, including ProCall Enterprise, MetaDirectory and ECSTA telephony drivers. ProCall Enterprise is licensed per named user, with licences and maintenance contracts managed in the UCConnect portal.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Named user

  1. ProCall Enterprise uses named user licensing, and a user licence must be purchased for each named user who will use the software permanently.[1]

  2. A fair use policy allows a time-limited overrun in which more users can be activated than licensed; deliberately exploiting it is treated as abuse and risks licence suspension.[2]

  3. An estos ProCall user licence entitles a user to log in with two ProCall clients simultaneously, for example ProCall for Mac, ProCall Mobile and ProCall Windows.[3]

  4. UCServer can be tested for 45 days with all functions for 25 PCs, after which licences must be purchased and entered.[4]

  5. From ProCall 8 Enterprise and MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise, licences and software maintenance contracts such as SPV and SA are held in the UCConnect portal.[5]
