Elektrobit
Elektrobit develops automotive embedded software and tooling, including the EB tresos Classic AUTOSAR product line, the EB corbos Adaptive AUTOSAR and Linux product line, and EB civion cockpit software. Its tools are licensed through activation codes for single users or floating licence servers managed in a licensing portal.
Licensing at a Glance
- Node-locked
- Floating / network
Single-user licences are activated by entering an emailed activation code in the EB Client License Administrator tool, online or through an offline activation request processed in the Elektrobit licensing portal.[1]
Floating licences are activated on a licence server with the EB Server License Administrator tool; customers can activate all ordered licences on one machine or split them across several licence servers.[2]
An EB tresos evaluation package (EB tresos Studio, AutoCore and AutoCore OS for specific microcontrollers) can be downloaded free of charge for non-commercial use, subject to approval and terms and conditions.[3]
The free EB corbos Linux for Safety Applications SDK package is intended for prototyping only, not for mass production; long-term security and maintenance of up to 15 years is sold separately.[4]
