
Digital Scholar
Digital Scholar (the Corporation for Digital Scholarship) is the nonprofit behind Zotero, an open source reference manager for researchers. Zotero is released under the AGPL-3.0, and the nonprofit funds development through paid Zotero Storage subscriptions.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Zotero source code is released under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3.[1]
Zotero is a project of Digital Scholar, a nonprofit organisation developing software and services for researchers and cultural heritage institutions.[2]
Zotero Storage includes 300 MB free; paid individual plans are 2 GB for $20/year, 6 GB for $60/year and unlimited for $120/year, with separate plans for labs and institutions.[3]
Group libraries use Zotero Storage at no additional charge, drawing on the group owner's storage account.[4]
Zotero services, including storage subscriptions, are operated by the Corporation for Digital Scholarship on a not-for-profit basis, and registration is required to subscribe.[5]
