DeepL provides AI translation and writing services through its web translator, desktop and mobile apps and API. It offers a free translator and free API tier, with DeepL Pro sold as per-user subscriptions in Individual, Team, Business and Enterprise plans.

  1. DeepL Pro plans are Individual (EUR 7.49 per month billed annually), Team (EUR 24.99 per user/month), Business (EUR 49.99 per user/month) and Enterprise (custom pricing), as shown for Germany.[1]

  2. Plans include character and file-translation allowances, for example 300,000 characters per month on Individual and 1,000,000 characters per user per month on Team.[2]

  3. The licence to use DeepL Translator Pro is a Single-User License, which may be used on multiple devices by one person but on only one device at a time; simultaneous use by several people requires a team licence or multiple licences.[3]

  4. Some add-ons, such as DeepL Write Pro, may only be allocated per seat.[4]

  5. The DeepL API Developer tier is provided free of charge, and DeepL reserves the right to change or discontinue the free API at any time.[5]
