DataSolid

DataSolid GmbH is a German developer of CADdy++, a 2D/3D mechanical CAD system offered in basic, economy and professional editions, and is also a Siemens partner reselling Solid Edge, NX and Teamcenter. Software is sold under purchase contracts whose general terms permit use on a single workstation.

  1. DataSolid's general terms of business apply to its software purchase contracts as well as to its cloud services and services such as programming, training and consulting.[1]

  2. CADdy++ is offered in three editions, basic, economy and professional, all based on the same data model.[2]

  3. The CADdy++ professional licence can be expanded with PDM, FEM and CAM modules.[3]

  4. Under DataSolid's general terms, the customer may run the software on a single workstation and make one backup copy; rights to modify, distribute or make the software publicly available are not granted.[4]

  5. On resale of the software, the customer must ensure that all copies remaining with it, including backups, are completely and permanently deleted.[5]

  6. For third-party standard software supplied by DataSolid, the manufacturer's terms apply and the licence agreement is concluded directly between the manufacturer and the customer.[6]
