Datacor
Datacor makes ERP and business software for the chemical and process industries and, since acquiring Applied Flow Technology (AFT), the Fathom, Arrow, Impulse and xStream pipe flow simulation products. Current flow simulation versions are licensed as 1- or 3-year subscriptions of pooled seats through the Zentitle2 platform.
Licensing at a Glance
- Subscription
- Concurrent user
- Floating / network
Current flow simulation versions are licensed through the Zentitle2 platform from Nalpeiron, in Core, Pro and Enterprise tiers; Enterprise adds the Local License Server for air-gapped sites and metered API functionality.[1]
Duration terms are a two-week trial approved by sales, a one-year subscription, or a three-year term that locks in rates year to year.[2]
A purchase combines a tier, a term and a number of seats into an entitlement; customer-appointed License Admins grant users access to specific entitlements by email address.[3]
Entitlements act as a pool of seats: a seat is checked out when a user logs in and opens the application and returned when it is closed.[4]
Temporary offline activation locks a seat to a computer for one week and needs a special code from the company's License Admin; it is not intended for fully air-gapped systems.[5]
