d.velop
d.velop AG is a German maker of document management, process management, contract, invoice processing and digital signature software built on the d.velop content platform. Its software is licensed per named user as an on-premises purchase, an on-premises lease or Software as a Service.

d.velop provides standard software for use either for an unlimited period on the customer's infrastructure (Software Purchase On Premises), for a limited period on the customer's infrastructure (Software Lease On Premises), or for a limited period on d.velop's infrastructure (SaaS).[1]
Rights of use are granted for the contractually specified number of named users, for an unlimited time for a purchase and for the contract term for a lease or SaaS; majority-owned (at least 51%) group companies may also use the software.[2]
If a customer exceeds the licences granted without consent, d.velop may charge for the excess use at its current price list plus a one-off processing fee of 25% of that amount.[3]
d.velop may request self-disclosure or audit the customer; without concrete cause, audits are limited to once per calendar year with at least ten working days' notice, and the customer bears all costs if a breach is found.[4]
Unless otherwise agreed, continuing obligations have a minimum term of twelve months and renew for further twelve-month periods unless terminated with three months' notice before the end of a contract year, which also applies to reducing the number of users.[5]
d.velop offers Silver, Gold and Platinum support packages; Gold is included with the purchase of d.velop documents, d.velop contracts and d.velop invoices.[6]
