ConnectWise

ConnectWise makes software for managed service providers and IT teams, including ScreenConnect remote access, RMM, PSA and security products. Offerings are sold mainly as subscriptions under the ConnectWise Master Agreement, with ScreenConnect licensed per concurrent technician or by access agent.

  1. ScreenConnect offers concurrent and agent-based licensing: concurrent technician licences allow technicians to connect to sessions simultaneously, while agent-based licences limit the number of access agents installed.[1]

  2. ScreenConnect plans are billed monthly or annually; the Standard and Premium plans are priced per concurrent technician and allow up to 3 and 10 sessions per technician respectively.[2]

  3. Under the Master Agreement, a Named User is a specific individual or device designated to use or be managed by the offering; credentials may not be shared but may be reassigned.[3]

  4. Subscriptions renew automatically for the shorter of the expiring term and one year unless either party gives 60 days' notice; licensed quantities cannot be reduced during a term and renewal per-unit pricing increases.[4]

  5. ConnectWise may audit remotely or on site on 30 days' notice, no more than once per calendar year unless there is reasonable suspicion of a deviation.[5]
