Code Sector

Code Sector develops the TeraCopy file copy utility and the Direct Folders utility for Windows. TeraCopy has a free version, while commercial use and extra features need a one-time-purchase Pro, Business or Site licence.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Free tier
  • Perpetual licence
  • Site or enterprise-wide

  1. TeraCopy's feature matrix lists use in a commercial environment only for TeraCopy Pro/Business, not for the free version.[1]

  2. Licences are a one-time purchase with no subscription and include free minor updates; existing customers get discounted upgrades to future major versions.[2]

  3. The Pro licence is for personal use by individuals and freelancers on all their own devices; the Business licence covers commercial use by teams, companies, government agencies and educational institutions; a Site licence covers up to 100 users across all locations.[3]

  4. A licence may be used either by one user on multiple computers or by multiple users on a single shared computer.[4]

  5. Volume discounts of 10%, 20% and 35% apply to quantities of 5-9, 10-19 and 20-29 licences.[5]
