Cjwdev

Cjwdev makes Windows tools for IT administrators, including AD Info, AD Permissions Reporter and NTFS Permissions Reporter. Free editions may be used personally and commercially, while paid Standard editions are one-off licences counted by the people running the tool, with site, enterprise and consultant options.

Licensing at a Glance

  • Free tier
  • Perpetual licence
  • Named user
  • Site or enterprise-wide

  1. Many Cjwdev tools are completely free for personal or commercial use and are not time limited; paid versions of some tools add features, and the free applications come with no warranty or official support.[1]

  2. AD Info licences are one-off payments rather than annual subscriptions, cover the people who run AD Info rather than the number of users in the domain, and include all future version updates.[2]

  3. AD Info is offered as Single User, Site (all users at one location), Enterprise (all locations of one organisation), Consultant (one person at any organisation) and Unlimited Consultant licences.[3]

  4. The AD Info Free Edition is free for personal and commercial use and not time limited; the Standard Edition adds a custom query designer, more export formats and command-line use.[4]

  5. NTFS Permissions Reporter Standard Edition includes free upgrades to new versions for the lifetime of the application.[5]
